  1. Able to replace players with open seats midgame

    Apart from surrendering, people may vote to get replaced midgame if they have to leave or are booted (in real-time games, of course), so that other people may join the ongoing game (or the host may invite people for replacement)

  2. Capture-the-flag Style Competition

    Members would compete in 1v1 games, the winner would then have their chosen colour automatically replaced with a new gold colour. The winner would retain this colour until defeated in the competition by another player.
    Variations:
    1. Permanent availability of gold colour after winning a certain number of games in a row, for example 15 or 20. Or, permanent availability of a different colour, eg silver. After reaching this number of games the champion would return to the list of challengers.
    2. Chosen colour replaced with bronze after winning one game, silver after winning 3, gold after winning 10, platinum…

  3. Objective Maps.

    New scenarios. Instead of the goal being all out war.. how about maps that call for strategic fighting/racing to a certain territory, which could even require careful planning around or through treacherous wastelands. Or how about offense/defense scenarios? (Guarding some sort of base etc.) Its hard to imagine with the current setup, but if we could tweak maps a bit (change starting locations to accommodate logical spawning in accordance with the objective of a map, etc.), this seems doable.

  4. Dual views on My Games

    This would allow you to have filtered results in one panel with all active games in another. Easier access to separate the list without missing some.

  5. Favourite games in profile : renaming and comments

    Favourite games have most often very dull names, like "1 v 1 multi-day (auto game)" or alikes. No date, no description... When you mention more than 2 or 3 favourite games in your profile, it's even hard to remember which one is the one you'd think about at a given time. Choosing them is hard as well, if the game is not very recent (that should be optimized as well : seeing the list of archived games like you would see your list of active games, for instance).

  6. Spectating practice games

    Agreed practice games where any other member than the players could see what happens, even if itdoes be cheat-friendly. If it's practice and players don't mind trusting each other about this, that would be entertaining to observe live games.

  7. Teem domination mode

    It would be an very fun feature, that can massively change the game play, the idea is:

    Teem game ie. 2v2, the one teem surrenders, the win team can decide a teem break-out, and team splits, the players now fight with each other to rule on the whole map.

    That setting will enforce more strategic placement of armies on bonuses borders, and can make game more unpredictable.

  8. Multiplier Cards

    Cards could be created with 2x, 3x, 4x varieties. Playing the card would allow a user to multiply the current number of armies in a single territory by the value on the card.

  9. "Wins in a row" statistics

    Adds a new statistics - tells the other player e.g. "KubaP has been invincible for 4 games. He's best row of winnings was 13".

  10. Another league system

    Here is another idea for a league system - based on the actual ladder system. How does this system work?

    We devide ALL ladder users by let's say 18, 19 oder 20 users and put them in leagues.

    Of course - the best 20 players are ranked in league 1. The best 21 - 40 users are ranked in league 2, and so on.

    And all games (still auto generated) you get are against players within your league.

    So the first goal a user has is to become rank 1-5 in his league to get in the next league.

  12. Reviews in common with 1 player controlling the scroll of history

    Having one player shuffling in the history of a game while other ones could observe and all comment, and possibly share control (like in online chess, go, etc.), would open a whole new mode of review.

    You can get all your armies to advance one in an outwardly direction, possibly in a specified direction. Useful for large maps, and/or small boot times

  15. Team Round Robin

    I know we have traditional bracket tournaments and also round robin tournaments. I thought of a new style which could be lots of fun (most likely for 1v1's).

    Set up two teams, A and B, and each player on team A plays each player on team B in a round robin fashion. Afterwards, you add up the wins on each side and that team wins the tournament. Think of it as a Team Round Robin.

    I think this would be a good precursor to Clans or Leagues in which each Clan/League can challenge another with a set amount of players.

  18. Rotating Fog

    have a setting in game creation where the fog state rotates (or moves like in real life). One turn it is extreme fog (foggy day) and another day it clears up and everyone can see for one turn. Another day could be a slew of Recon cards spots (spotty day). It would be on a randomizer so you wouldn't know what type you got. You could also set a default fog level so that you can have a base to go off of.

  19. Don't show the Receice Card Dialog unless a card is made whole

    I should only be notified when a card is ready to used. It slows me down constantly closing the card dialogue after every turn.

  20. Ability to See Team Chat and PMs After a Game is Over.
