Card Market
When creating a game players will have the option to enable the card market.
The idea behind it is that players recieve coins (or some other type of currency) as they capture territory just like normal cards. These coins can be used in the cards menu to purchase cards.
It can be used alongside the normal cards or games can be created that reward exclusively coins.
This mechanic can also be very customisable, as players would have the option to:
-Reward coins for every territory captured that turn.

Allow customizing fog visibility distance
this feature allows you can make the fog settings like, 'territories that can be reached in 1 or 2 turns are fully visible, but all others are completely fogged.' this will be {2, 2} fog. ({a, b} fog is territories that can be reached in or less than a turns are fully visible, and territories that can be reached in or less than b turns only shows the owner. territories that cannot be reached in b turns are completly fogged. light fog will be {1, ∞}.)

Pincer Attack Bonus
In real life, Pincer Attack can do great damage. In Warlight, no, there is no such option.
Therefore, I suggest to have a pincer attack setting for high level player to set at the map.
Basic idea:
When the map has pincer attack on, you can shift select multiple territories to attack on a single neighbour opponent's territory.
This pincer attack is default OFF, so it annoys nobody if ppl dislike it. It can only be turned on games created by high level players when they feel like to turn it on.Pincer Attack Bonus Percentage:

Allow teammates of an AI to use abandon, blockade etc. cards FOR the AI.
Pretty straight forward. We need o be able to play all/any cards FOR an AI that plays them poorly.

Alternative 'View older chat' button.
Some games, mostly diplomacy games, have a lot of chat and sometimes it can lag or even crash the computer if you try to load older chat.
I have come up with a simple solution;
Another button would be placed near the 'view older chat' button in the public chat and be labelled 'chat for past week' or 'last 100 messages' or something else.
This button will allow players to see the latest messages instead of the entire chat.25 votes -
Add Special Units and Bonuses
Example Bonus:
Fortress Bonus, is a fortress is this territory, now is 40% more hard to take.Special Units:
Normal Unites (1 Action Points)
Artillery>Ignores Fortress Bonus (3).
Special Unites>Strong Againts Normal Unites,Weak Againts Artillery (2)Players Stars whit 500 by default (like 5 troops).

Being able to see your and others winrate from the games in the last 30 days on the profile page.

live turn by turn game information on Query game API
RP guild are working on a victory points system. That means setting games whith a limited number of turns were the winner is not only defined by war but by different scores which show certain aspects that offer a deeper and roleplayable environment like polithics, economy, science or trade.
This would be developed on an external website that would interact with warlight thru the different available APIs. At this moment, Query game API can feed every detail from a game, but only when the game is finished. This must be obviously like this because otherways would be an easy way…

Quests, events, sharing and editing
Quests: can be enabled by getting a quest card that tells you to take a special territory to later gain more armies, you customize the special territories that can be chosen for the cards yourself.
Events: can be for example that your troops get stuck on a territory so that they can´t be moved for a certain amount of turns or that a percenatge of them gets stuck.

Sitters (backup players)
I would like to see a features from the web based game Travian.
They have a function called Sitters which means that you can add 1 or 2 persons who are allowed to user your account (like when you leave for a vacation or extended leave for some reason).
As it works in Travian, those users can then just put in your account name and login with their regular password.
Perhaps there could even be some kind of notification that it was a sitter who made the move, perhaps an asterisk after the name so something like this:

Open Clans - Enforce Prerequisites
We should be able to create prerequisites for joining an open clan, similar to the ones you can use for an open game.
For example, my clan requires all new members to be above level 10 but we have no way of enforcing that besides manually removing anyone who joins and is at a level below that.

Show more new maps on dashboard
Currently the dashboard shows the two most recently added maps. With the amount of maps which are created lately, that means some new maps will be in the spotlight for a very short period.
By simply placing the name of the map and its creator below the thumbnail (which only takes about 20 vertical pixels), there'd easily be room to showcase the four or maybe even five most recent maps.A related suggestion (for which zing103 deserves the credit) would be to use one or two of the new slots to showcase a random map, either on daily rotation or…

Since you can't spectate when there's fog, I'd like to propose a proper way to spectate when both light and heavy fog are enabled. :]

Swiss tournaments
The Swiss tournament is the ideal tournament format for large groups. The difference between a Round Robin and a Swiss tournament is that you will not have to play against every single person; instead, you will be placed against people with the same score. Swiss tournaments are thus a) more accurate than elimination tournaments, b) more enjoyable than elimination tournaments because you can still recover from an early loss and c) are able to accommodate more players than Round Robins. Please google if you you need more info on it. But really, though. I would LOVE to see this tournament…

Warzone Idle: For auto advancements, instead of an on/off checkbox, allow players to set a value at or below what is currently unlocked.
In some cases, 5% is best for auto-conquer. In other cases, 50% is better. The same is true of auto-upgrade army camps (e.g., when saving for a dig or other purchase).

Really it could be anything. Some examples,

I would recommend making it along the lines of Map of the Week, having one specific and simple question asked on a weekly basis. (Appears on the Dashboard)

Secondary Open Seats
Let the game host add another type of open seat with different prerequisites. Allow at least 3 types in a game. Make one of the prerequisites: from clan XY. If you are from clan XY and there is a game with an open seat with a prerequisite of being from clan XY, make the game pop in your games as if you were invited. Let players turn off the latest mentioned feature. You can hide some of this behind membership to increase its value.
On diplo games, there are usually big slots which require more experienced players with lower boot…

warlight on xbox
I would love to be able to play warlight directly on my xbox, it would be an arcade game and could go for around 800-1200 microsoft points(10-15 bucks).

Save changed colors in Multi-day games
When you have big team games in multi-day, It would be easier to see if we could change colors and save it until end of game !
Now, you have to change colors each time you play a turn, really boring.
