Singleplayer can have more than 5 AIs
Currently, Singleplayer has the cap of you and 5 AIs, I think that we should be allowed to have more AIs in Singleplayer as one of the main draws of Membership is the huge 12v12 or whatever battles, if people could experience this in singleplayer, they would have a much higher chance of paying so they could could with real people
1 voteThe amount of players you can invite to a game is based on you level or if you have purchased the mega strategy pack.

Random map
I think there should be an option in the map category for a random map. I have always wanted to play a game where the map was randomly selected. Please consider my request! - TWM

Sort custom scenario slots on game lobby
It would be nice if in the game lobby (while waiting for players to join/the game to start), that the slots from the custom scenario were in order. There appears to be no sort to the player list. It would help a lot with figuring out which slots you still need to fill if they where in alphabetical order. We have games with 24 slots and the player list gets real messy when people decline and you try to find new players. The change players function correctly assigns new players an open slot, but it would still help a lot…
1 voteActually, there is a sort order to the players list. The lobby first sorts by team. If there are no teams, or within each team, it then sorts by player name in alphabetical order. However, open seats aren’t sorted, so I assume you’re talking about a situation where you have lots of open seats. This is now fixed — open seats will now sort by their slot.

Events Forum
Currently there are 4 forums: General, Map Development, Ladder, and CLOT Development. I'm suggesting a 5th forum, Events.
Currently, all of the topics of this nature are put into the General forum. This can range from tutoring opportunities, tournament setups, clan wars, various leagues and competitions, as well as the weekly WarGamingLive event details.
I think that it'd be more convenient for everyone if these topics had their own forum. It would separate them out more, and if someone is looking for something of this nature it would be much easier than having to scan through the General forum and…

Real time tournaments (Lobby+ tournament) all in one
So I am very happy fizzer has added the real time tournaments.
Now as every one that has hosted a real-time tournament knows you need to make a lobby get people that are online and then re-invite them.
What I am suggesting would create a tournament(for real time only) with 2 phases;
First just like a lobby every one joins.
Then when the host has the players required for his tournament he clicks on "start"
All the players are re invited. To sum it up Lobby (wish sometimes takes 1hr to fill up) Players accept a first time, then when…

Make Reconnaissance Cards more flexible
Right now the Recon Card shows one territory and its adjacent territories for x turns, where x is the value set by the game creator.
The duration of the card effect is already variable, but the range of the effect (1 territory deep) is always fixed. It would be more interesting if players could trade shorter durations for an increase in range. Example: The game creator sets the card value to 4. Now when a player plays a recon card, he can choose between the following options:
See one territory and its immediate neighbors (range 1) for 3 turns. (1…4 votesCompleted in mod "Custom Card Package 2"

Dont allow blacklisted players to invite me to a tournament
Sending tournament invites is a type of spam. I don't want to receive invites from blacklisted people.

Passworded/Private Games
Games that cannot be joined without being given the direct URL or without giving the password (which is set by the host in creating the map). These could automatically be practice games, but it would be nice to have games exclusive to a set of friends without personally inviting each of them.
3 votesThis feature has since been added. When creating a multiplayer game, select "Invite via code".

Highlight teams better on tournament screen
when you're scrolling down the tournament page it's hard to visualize who is in what team and what teams are incomplete, would be nice to have some coloring background distinguish teams apart. also would be nice to click the team and have their games highlighted on the tournament map, similar to what automatically happens with your team.

Allow distributing bonus armies only within bonuses
Currently, all of a player's armies can be distributed on any of a player's territories. With this option enabled in a game, a bonus can only be distributed in the territories that comprise the bonus, and must be moved to the frontier using normal means. This makes for games with a more balanced distribution of armies, and reduces the advantage for the player with the most bonuses.
10 votesWarLight now has a feature called Local Deployments that does just that! Armies you get from bonuses can only be deployed in that bonus.

Ability to blockade territories that you take in that turn
Give the player the option to blockade any territory even if they do not own it yet. If they take the territory, the blockade succeeds if they dont it fails and you lose your card.

Discourage deliberate stalling in the 1v1 ladder by reducing boot time for the player who submits his turn last to 24hrs
As it is now, a player can drag out ladder games by playing only one turn every 3 days, then wait another 3 days and so forth.
To encourage players to play two consecutive turns in a row, the boot time for the player who submits a turn last should be reduced to 24hrs instead of 72hrs.
That way, a player could only drag out 1 turn for 3 days, but would have to play the next turn within 24hrs. Only if he plays two consecutive turns every session he should be granted the full 3 days boot time.4 votesLadder boot time has since been reduced to 1 day 12 hours and 1 day 12 hours banked and vacations are no longer honoured.

Remove inactive players from the ladder
When a ladder player or part of a team has been inactive for 6 full days, they are automatically removed from the ladder, as per the current "remove me from ladder" functionality. This would hopefully include seasonal ladders as well.
After 6 days, the player has been fully autobooted from every ladder game they were in at the time they stopped playing. Having them continue to get games only hurts them and the players that they played against previously. Future games are uneventful and take up game slots for their opponents. There are no positive effects of staying in the…

Seasonal ladder set to 0% luck
The seasonal ladder is played with 3 armies on neutrals. You need to take these with 5 armies each, cause you can't afford one more army on them. The succeed rate however is 94%. If one crucial overtake doesn't succeeds, then you are doomed and will most likely lose the game based on that. 0% luck rate would mean, you take over 0.6*5=3. So you would get 100% succeed rate, like we wanted. The impact of 16% compared to 0% is very minimal, so I would say this would only improve gameplay.
2 votesThe new season, Season IV, now uses almost completely luck-free settings! See the announcement here: http://blog.warlight.net/index.php/2012/06/season-iv/

Strategic 1v1 template should use cyclic move order
Use cycle move order in the strategic 1 v 1 template instead of random move order
cycle turn order creates a new and exciting dynamic to games. It also eliminates close games being decided by who got that critical 1st move.

Secondary Colors
It's a little bit annoying to miss out on a game just because you're picking a color.
Having preset secondary and tertiary colors would help to counter this.
Of course, being able to set the priority of all of the colors would be the best solution to this problem but that may be more trouble than it's worth. Two or three should be fine.
115 votesI’m pleased to announce that WarLight now supports secondary colors! Just visit https://www.warlight.net/ChangeColor and you can enter an alternate color that will automatically be used when your primary color is taken.
