  1. Add to a Deploy

    When I go ahead and deploy a couple armies to attack a territory, I do that. However, when I go back later and want to deploy more to even out all of my borders, some have more deployed than others.

    I would like you to be able to click a button, and then type in how many more you want to add, instead of clicking a whole bunch of times, or having to add really big numbers, such as 2734 and 3498 then subtract other numbers to see how many more I need.

  2. Random Neutrals

    A setting which will let people choose a minimum and maximum value, then all neutrals will be a random number between those values instead of a fixed, map-wide value.

  3. Add a way of enforcing diplo rules in settings

    Diplomacy games are very popular in WarLight but are often ruined by people breaking the diplo rules such as don't declare war 1 turn before attacking....... these people who become PE or Public Enemy ruin the game for everyone because it breaks diplomatic relations and ruins people's nations and territory....... their should be a way in the settings to force people to follow "standard diplomacy rules" to make it so that people don't have their game experienced ruined by someone who breaks the rules.

    Standard diplo rules include:
    1. Declare war (x turns) before attacking, ex. Declare turn x, place…

  4. Repeat Order Button

    Deployment and transfer of supply lines in local deployment games on large maps is currently tedious and repetitive. The idea is to add a repeat button to the tab that appears when you click on an order. Clicking this would change the color of the order and make it appear in the list at the start of every turn. The order would continue to repeat until deleted.

    This means that once you set up your supply lines once you can leave them to repeat until you need to change something.

  5. Notepad Attached to MD Games

    Hi, I have an idea that i think can provide for quality of play. To have notepads to make notes on Games that are Multi-day. Because is too easy to forget playing multiple multiday games what were the plans you had in your head in the beggining of the game.

  6. Guaranteed Card Draw

    The current card system is not ideal.
    The rule "Attack a territory per turn" is artificial.
    [ It was maybe made with turtling in mind ] but...

    If your team mate is trapped in a team game, you lose a card...
    If you are connected to your opponent and the BEST move is to attack, you can lose both positional and card advantage if you are unlucky.
    If you play an FFA. You are trapped and made peace with someone...
    you still cannot get card pieces. It is very sad.

  7. I want instant messaging chatrooms.

    I want chatrooms where we can message each other. This feature would be great for clans and non clans alike, and it would be a great way to chat and arrange real time games with other players.

  8. Increase the Forum Posting Level to 30/Ban Trolls

    Trolls everyday are taking over the forums... It is pointless and their contributions to the community are nothing but a annoyance.

    Increasing the Posting level would only help this a little, removing non-funny trolls (some are funny, I like them) that do no good for the community should not be allowed to post to the forums, at-least the ones that people use to try to co-ordinate events.

    When this it turned off, it should be a highlighted setting. Or alternatively, allow the user to select which way they want it highlighted.

  10. BYE option for the private tournaments

    Give the possibility to the tournament creators to use BYE slots (maximum the 25% of the tournament size)

    It can be useable in two cases:

    1. for bigger tournaments which are stopped filling but reach 75% at least, so it can be startable in this way.
      In this case, the bye slots drawn randomly (only criteria that two bye slots cannot play eachother).

    2. for seeded private tournaments

      In this case, the tournament creator would have the option to give byes to the (all of or some) seeded players in the first round.

  11. Be able to view who's on my team FROM the main screen

    It can be hard when playing with a group you're not familiar with, or even if you are familiar, but their "regular" color wasn't available. Just looking at the map, I can't tell/remember which players are on my team.

    Even just a row or column of colored dots or squares with a color corresponding to each teammate. Even better, to place cursor over each colored dot and the "hovering" is noticed by the machine and the name of the teammate would pop up adjacent to the corresponding colored dot.

  12. Alliance/peace/war feature

    I think a cool idea would be to add a setting that is called "player diplomacy" I think this feature would be useful for diplomacy games. An example for this would be that you must go to "view players" and then click on the player and select "declare war" "establish peace" or "create alliance". I think this idea would be useful to reduce PE and have less confusion on whether someone was at war or not or if they had to wait a turn because they were in an alliance.

    This can be done using the new mod framework!
    Check out the mod “Advanced Diplo v2” or the “Gift armies” mods.

  13. Reason with AI

    You should be able to reason with AI in the single player mode, examples include peace treaties (no attacking between the two sides for se amount of turns), alliance (team up with an AI against other AI's and win together), surrender (weaker enemy's might choose to surrender instead of being destroyed) and maybe the possability to trade with AI's.

    The maximum number of players in a game has since been increased to 400. Any more than 40 players uses the Mega Game feature

  16. 2v2 Coin Matches

    Coin matches should have more diversity in the available game types - even if only as a custom coin match, 2v2 should be an option. In general, coin matches need much better support for team play.

  18. Nuke Card for diplos

    So a couple months back, I was playing a "nuclear war" diplo, and I wondered where the nuclear war part was.

    It gave me the idea for a nuke card; kind of like a blockade card, except you play it on someone else's territories. The selected territory and all bordering territories will be blockaded (i.e. on the Hex Earth map, if I nuked Oklahoma City, Oklahoma City and all bordering territories (Forth Worth, Dallas, Missouri, Kansas City, Central Kansas, Western Oklahoma) would be blockaded.) Like the blockade card, it could be customized to cause the armies to double, triple, etc.…

  19. Password protection for games.

    Allow games to be protected with a password. Any player wishing to join must enter the password in order to join the game.

    Possible uses:

    • Open games for friends or clanmates. Share the password with them (e.g. by e-mail, or an a clan forum), so anyone can join without being specifically invited.

    • In a large game, post the password for the new game. Anyone currently playing can now try to join the "open" game. However, other people could still request to join, even if they haven't been invited.

    • All of one player's games could be protected by the same password,…

  20. When you use the button to go back from using a card, it's very easy to back one too many times and erase your current game. confirm

    Confirm you want to go back to the menu and lose your current game before going back, or at least trigger an auto save so you can get back to your game.
