Nicknames
Because keeping track of players can be really hard when people can change their name, color, and profile pic and just vanish. Having a permanent nickname that appears next to a player would be really helpful to keep track of players. As an example, reference Steam.
2 votesOld nicknames are recorded on player profiles near the bottom of the page.

Summary of card pieces in settings menu
There is a great many cards in WL, each with a lot of settings. With each card divided into a different number of pieces, of which you get a fixed minimum number per turn and then there's a number of random pieces... distributed by configurable weights... It becomes rather complicated; even experienced players might not be able to see, at a glance, how all the card settings will combine.
How about adding an "executive summary" (both in the create-game screen and on the settings page, which people /should/ check before joining the game), like so:
Current version (in Game Settings
…1 voteThere are now icons that summarise game settings, including cards. There is also a summery of the settings in game menu settings in the new Unity client.

Mail Functionality in iPhone / iPad (iOS) Client
I love the iOS client! I just wish I could receive my Warlight mail on my iPhone and iPad Warlight games. I get the in-game private mails, but not the direct Warlight mail. It makes it hard to respond to clan members when they message me directly, etc.
Somehow getting a simple mail function on the iOS client would be so great.
3 votesThe iOS app can how read and reply to mail threads! See https://www.warzone.com/blog/index.php/2018/04/update-4-07-1-mail-in-app/

Diplomacy games Development.
Many players love diplomacy games but the game directly do not support that kind of games.
My proposal is to create special tool for the diplomacy management.
1. Realtions charts visible for all players
2. Few types of relations
a. Hard Ally - its the team game but teams are created durning the game ( when the team has more than x % of the income than noone can join the team) All activities possible. Transfer armies, Airlift etc.
b. Normal Ally - Auto war status when 1 of enemies atacked your ally. You can send him armies but game…2 votesThis can be done using the new mod framework!
Check out the mod “Advanced Diplo v2” or the “Gift armies” mods. -

Improved Membership Benefits
There must be an incentive to purchase membership, especially for those of a level in which everything fundamental is unlocked. The majority of current memberships I see are attached to those who would have full access anyway so really don't benefit from it, bar some extra vacations and a few ads removed. There must be features that cannot be unlocked by levelling up - This is the critical part.
I suggest maybe implementation of a membership only ladder (potentially just starting with a 1v1) - Membership only Tournaments, free name changes - anything that makes paying and supporting warlight mutually…
16 votesMember benefits have been improved! Members now have full access to mods! Thanks for the suggestion.

3D maps
3 dimensional maps so everything is proportional and also allows for more creativity when creating maps. such as a 3d rubix cube or a globe.

Mobile Client Feature: Territory links in chat.
Just copying a feature over from the web version, the ability to add links to a territory in chat. Right now games on mid-larged sized maps are hard to coordinate since you have to say "can you attack the orange territory, to the west of blue.... under the branch with the pigeon on it"
7 votesThis has been completed in the new Unity client. Check it out!

Colour changes for Android
I've seen you can change other players colour, but only on web version of the game. I'm colorblind, so I appreciate so much this feature, however i didn't see that feature on android app.
Thanks!
4 votesIt is possible to change player colours on mobile in the new Unity client!

Black list info for my friends
So ,people on my friend list can see who is on my blacklist. Result: If i see that few my friends have same person on black list i will add him also without question. Blacklist will become more important and bad people will be faster eliminated from games.
3 votesThis has been completed in a Userscript that DanWL made – https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/33699-troll-hammer. It allows people to share their blacklist easily to your friends and your friends can just as easily blacklist the accounts you’ve blacklisted.

Mobile Client Feature: Show all moves in history as one screen
Just copying a feature over from the web version, the ability to show all history for a turn at once, rather than having to step through.
1 voteThe "Show all" button has since been added to mobile.

Groups
Allow users to create groups, that anybody can join with the host's permission. This would make it easier to get serious RPers, from all clans and no clans, into games without the people who just surrender/troll/goinstantPE. Basically it would be like shared whitelists and blacklists.
It would also be very useful for getting new players involved, helping them improve, and helping people network.
3 votesA mod API framework has since been created and sever diplomacy mods have emerged from it.

Display boot times on 'My Games' tab
I frequently wish that I could know the boot settings for games I'm playing without having to go into each one individually. Having the option of listing the boot times in 'My Games' (as is done in 'Open Games') would be useful.
This would make it easier to know when you have the option of voting/booting to get a game moving again, as well as helping you prioritize the order in which you need to deal with a bunch of games when coming back after a vacation or extended absence.
2 votesThis feature has since been added.

Alliance
Make users able to announce alliances and give them the ability to transfer troops to one another.
1 voteSeveral diplomacy mods have since been created ever since mods were added as a feature.

Enforcement of "Lottery" settings
While "lottery" games are supposed to be random/fair, some people cheat (http://warlight.net/MultiPlayer?GameID=7102254), and there doesn't seem to be any mechanism for reporting/penalizing people who do that.
2 votesReport the host using the in-game report button.

Nuke/mass attack card
It would Turn all territories within a certain radius into wastelands. Map makers can change the radius of which this is.
7 votesThis has been implemented as a mod. See https://www.warzone.com/wiki/Nuke_card for details.

'Are you sure you want to exit confirmation?'
When pressing back while in single player mode user can accidentally exit game. Upon return they find it is not saved. Very frustrating and it happens a lot.
1 voteAll single-player games now automatically save, so if you accidentally leave the page or close the app, you can always return to the game and pick up where you left off.

Introduction of WarLight Moderators
Introduction of WarLight moderators who can review reports on players, and ban them (For no more than 3 days). The powers should be limited, but this would help Fizzer greatly in my opinion so that the load on him could be eased off.
1 voteThere are more moderators on Warzone now.
