Gift territory/army cards
Can go along with the peace treaty as part of the deal to settle peace. Gift the territories or armies demanded in exchange for X amount of turns of peace. As well as it allows better partnerships in alliances that are not teammates.

Booted players get turned into a passive AI or goes IDLE
Useful for FFAs, or diplomacy games where teams are implicit. Right now, if someone gets booted and turned into AI, the AI will attack all players. This will break most diplomacy games as well as some custom scenarios.
Passive AI's would only deploy units and not make any attacks or transfers.
This feature will be very useful for 15+ players games of custom scenarios or diplomacy games where booting someone and/or turning them into AI's will potentially ruin the game for everyone.
Instead of making everyone wait because one person is taking too long, they can be "soft booted" into…

Able to see tournaments on mobile apps
A lot of the time, I check my Warlight on my phone. But on the mobile Warlight, you can't look at or join tournaments. Please add this feature, it would be very helpful.
16 votesYou can now access tournaments on your mobile device! Just open up https://www.warlight.net/MultiPlayer/Tournaments/ from your browser and you can do everything that a PC can.
(although it’s not integrated into the WarLight app yet)

Chat Updates
My friends and I love the game, but love the public/private chat a lot too. However, when new messages are posted the only way to know is to check on the game manually. We'd really like to see a 'new chat' notification feature added.
2 votesIn the new Unity client, the number of unread chat messages appears next to chat. Be sure to check it out!

Allow users to set up open games for clan members only.
I would like to have a game open for JUST my clan to join.. whomever may be online at the time. If i post it to the open games tab, just anyone may join (which i don't want). Since we CANT SEE WHO IS ONLINE this would give a way to have just who you want allowed in the game to see or join it. .
16 votesYou can now do this by using the “invite via code” option, then share that code with your clan mates. Thanks for the suggestion!

Improved Tournament Settings
(1) Real-time tournament results/rankings.
(2) More advanced tiebreakers.
(3) Rotating Teammates RR Tournaments: Each player plays with every other player at least once. The tournament (2v2 or 3v3) then plays out. The winner is the individual whose teams won the most games. http://www.jdawiseman.com/papers/tournaments/individual-pairs/individual-pairs.html
(4) New Round, New Template: Each round in the tournament has a different template.
(5) Host can reduce number of players needed to start (in case the tournament does not start in a reasonable amount of time).
(6) Multiday tournaments are automatically deleted after a fixed period of time (if they don't fill up).
(7) Anonymous tournaments:…10 votes- and #6 are now solved! Tournaments will automatically reduce their size to fit how many players join, and tournaments are always started regardless of how full they become.

Diplomacy
Most people know what diplomacy is due to so many games being diplomacy-based. Basically it would be a Diplomacy game mode where everyone would start out neutral with eachother. Then each person would have a "Negotiate" button next to their name, which would bring up a negotiation tab. There would be options for an Alliance, Form Union (Basically a big alliance that can have more than two nations), Declare war, and Make Peace. The other player would be notified of war being declared and would receive the offer to accept Peace and Alliances/Union formations. I think a lot of people…
24 votesI’m pleased to announce that peace treaties / diplomacy games can now be played using the new mod framework!
Check out the mod “Advanced Diplo v2”, which has a war/peace/allies system, and a lot of other neat features that work with this!

More support for Diplomacy games
The Idea is that You would be able to create Alliances officially and Create NAPs, It would also require to declare war, These features would be accessible by clicking on the player you wish to interact with, And then requesting for an alliance, This player would be then alerted that someone has requested with you, Then the other player could either accept or decline. This would also reduce trolls in Diplos and RP games, and make it harder to become a Public Enemy

show game url in address bar
It would be great if the actual game url was displayed in the browser's address bar. That way if someone has to reload because of connection (or some other issues) they automatically get to the active game.
It wouldn't be hard to implement using the HTML5 history API, which is supported by all major browsers. (http://caniuse.com/#feat=history)
eg:
import flash.external.ExternalInterface;
ExternalInterface.call("history.pushState({},'',"+game_url+")");
on loading a new game.(One could even listen to the popstate event and make the browser's back button work properly. :)
12 votesWarLight now shows the URL to the game in the address bar! Thanks for the suggestion.

A Global Map for the Clanwars
No need to invent the universe guys. http://worldoftanks.com/clanwars/maps/globalmap/ . World of tanks has a great idea of clanwars. There is a global map with teritories that give something every turn. It can be clan points or a currency in warlight or something. The general idea is clans can fight for teritories and each territory is on a diferent map. The way the clanwars it's self works can be like a mini tourment or each team can have up to 10 players and they can send 1 player to face the other teams's player. Kind of like how starcraft team tournaments…

Medium fog of war
Medium fog of war - follows these rules:
A. see armies in adjacent territories (as it is)
B. allows you to see who owns territories an additional territory away, but not the number of armies there.Example: In territory 1, directly adjacent to you, you can see who owns it and how many armies are there. In territories adjacent to territory 1 (that you don't own) you can see who owns it, but not how many armies are there.
4 votesSounds like you’re describing what’s now known as Light Fog. See https://www.warzone.com/wiki/Fog#Types_of_Fog to learn about the different types of fog.

Change the wording on the Redo Orders dialogue
This is purely a copyediting complaint. I think the first sentence of this message should be replaced with "You may modify or re-do your orders." The "Re-do orders" button could also be changed to "Modify orders" and the affirmative button could read "Yes, modify my orders".
Currently, it reads "Yes, I made a mistake" which is not the case much of the time when players are really just choosing a different strategy or updating their moves to better coordinate with moves their teammates submitted later. "Re-do" suggests that the player is starting over, which is usually not the case.
This…
8 votesYou’re right — back in the day, this feature used to require you to completely re-enter all of your orders from scratch. Later it was improved to let you make small changes and re-commit, but the text was never updated to reflect that. I just updated the text to Modify Orders, and the confirmation message is now completely gone. Thanks for the suggestion!
