  1. Team Round Robin

    I know we have traditional bracket tournaments and also round robin tournaments. I thought of a new style which could be lots of fun (most likely for 1v1's).

    Set up two teams, A and B, and each player on team A plays each player on team B in a round robin fashion. Afterwards, you add up the wins on each side and that team wins the tournament. Think of it as a Team Round Robin.

    I think this would be a good precursor to Clans or Leagues in which each Clan/League can challenge another with a set amount of players.

  2. New Sort Option under My Games: remaining time until boot

    Instead of sorting by "How long it's been my turn" (btw, that sort order is wrong too, longest times should appear first not last in list) I'd like to be able to sort by the remaining time until I might get booted. Say I have a 2day, 3day and 5day game and all are due since 47hours, the 2day game would appear first on the list, because it is more urgent to play than the 5day game.

  3. Don't show the Receice Card Dialog unless a card is made whole

    I should only be notified when a card is ready to used. It slows me down constantly closing the card dialogue after every turn.

  6. Rotating Fog

    have a setting in game creation where the fog state rotates (or moves like in real life). One turn it is extreme fog (foggy day) and another day it clears up and everyone can see for one turn. Another day could be a slew of Recon cards spots (spotty day). It would be on a randomizer so you wouldn't know what type you got. You could also set a default fog level so that you can have a base to go off of.

  8. Recent Players Filter when creating games

    Have a filter of Recent Players when creating games. Currently if I play someone new and I want to play with them again, I have to search by name. If there was a filter of most recently played with I could easily find the person because they would be at the top of the list. This would help towards rematches.

  10. Warlight ranking

    Basic Information

    All games are available ranking system, whose operation is similar to the action of a typical chess rankings.

    Initially, each player receives a rank equal to 1200th Then, by playing parties like the ranking (not escort), the ranking is increasing or decreasing depending on the outcome of the next batch. If the player wins, ranking grows, if it loses, decreasing, and if the draws - grows or decreases depending on whether the tie is the better player, or worse.

    The number of ranking points, which is added or subtracted after each game depends on the difference in rankings…

  11. Default to transfer between player's territories

    Move's between my territories are expected to be transfers. Usually the number of troops I move is too small to be trying a retake.

  14. Card Percentage Changes Based On Territories

    Allow for sliding card reward values (how often you get a certain card, or how many cards you can have in your hand) based on how many armies you earn per turn.

    You could then create games that would give a slight boost to players who are doing poorly, keeping everybody in the game longer and making games much tighter.

  15. Morale Boost Card

    Instead of having a flat rate of 60% attack success and 70% defense success, a morale boost card could add +A% to your chance of attack kills and/or +B% to you chance of defense kills for C number of turns.

    Maybe this card could also have a positive effect on your luck as well?

  16. Espionage

    Similar to the Order Intercept, but in this case you could play on the other team and instead of modifying your own orders, you would be allowed to modify one of their orders. This would not be to create or delete an order, but only modify the existing order. Could include either the number of armies moving both up or down, or the destination of the move.

  17. Order Intercept

    A new card could be Order Intercept. This if possible would give a sub-turn to the player who played the card after all teams have submitted order. Once reviewing the orders of the team they intercepted, they could modify their own orders. Variables for this would be how long that player has to review and/or modify their own orders. If they do not in the time allowed, the game moves forward skipping the Intercept.

  18. Permanentely double/triple bonus card

    By using this card you could permanentely double/triple the amount of armies you get from bonus you select. For egzample after using this card Scandinavia instead of 3 armies/turn, would give you 6/9 armies respectively.This could simulate capital of your empire or generaly base building.It would add additional strategical aspect to Warlight : do I use this card on my safe but low earning Scandinavia or on Canada which happens to be my frontier?

  20. Entire bonus territory pick option.

    I like the idea of countries being used as a whole from the start, this is hard to organise and make fair with the current system. If possible this could allow for interesting country to country battles. Of course there may be problems with uneven sized bonuses.
