  1. Additional Sound Notifications

    The idea is to add sound notifications to certain actions. Examples include: direct boot time has been reached, personal message received, public/team chat message received.

    My primary motivation for this idea is that many times players think they have submitted their turn and minimize Warlight while doing something else, only to be booted a few minutes later because they don't realize the game is waiting for them.

    These additional sounds would let users know that something is going on that they should take a look at. Most useful, in my opinion, would be a sound when the direct boot time…

  2. Predetermined/multi-game teams

    This was suggested on the forum http://www.warlight.net/Forum/Thread.aspx?ThreadID=730
    It would be nice to have the ability to join a tournament or game as a team. It would also allow for team statistics. I often like to play on the same team as my friends but we often run into the problem of other people joining our team.

  3. Determine color priority by records between those players

    In situations where two opponents share the same colour, the player with the superior heads-up record between the two combatants will retain his desired colour selection. Three of more players sharing the same colour would be based on overall ranking.

    Allow WarLight to be played from Windows Phone devices.

    Hi all,

    We would certainly like WarLight to run on all phones. However, making an app for a phone is a huge amount of work (the iOS and Android version took over 2 years). We have to weigh the amount of work against the benefit, and right now it’s not sufficient to warrant devoting so much time to the Windows Phone.

    We will keep this item open and continue to re-evaluate in the future to see if the landscape changes. Thanks for the suggestion.
