Auto commit, direct commit and vote to commit
Warlight shoud add a vote to commit, direct commit and auto commit feature, based on the vote to boot, direct boot and auto boot feature.
When a player does not commit his orders before the auto commit time, the orders already given are automatically commited. The armies not deployed by the player during the turn are lost.
Consequently, if the auto commit time is reached without any deployment or attack orders given by the player, and when the game advances, his armies remain stationnary. In the same way, when a player does not commit his orders before the direct commit…

ICBM Card and Bomb Card
Play this card on a territory to kill half of the armies there. Bombs can hit adjacent territories, ICBMs can hit any territory on the map. Playing a second card would kill half of the remaining armies.
26 votesWarzone now has a bomb card! See https://www.warzone.com/wiki/Bomb_Card for details.

Diplomacy
Most people know what diplomacy is due to so many games being diplomacy-based. Basically it would be a Diplomacy game mode where everyone would start out neutral with eachother. Then each person would have a "Negotiate" button next to their name, which would bring up a negotiation tab. There would be options for an Alliance, Form Union (Basically a big alliance that can have more than two nations), Declare war, and Make Peace. The other player would be notified of war being declared and would receive the offer to accept Peace and Alliances/Union formations. I think a lot of people…
24 votesI’m pleased to announce that peace treaties / diplomacy games can now be played using the new mod framework!
Check out the mod “Advanced Diplo v2”, which has a war/peace/allies system, and a lot of other neat features that work with this!

Diplomacy mode
A great thing would be a Diplomacy mode added to FFA and Teams. This would enable people to add others to temporary teams when forming alliances and to make it so that you can airlift an ally, transfer to an ally and have to wait for at least 1 turn after disbanding an alliance to attack them. This would be good for hosts in diplos to control the amount of allies people are allowed to have. Declaring war on someone could be something official by clicking on their name and then clicking "Declare war". This would allow everyone in the…

Add tournament filter "Active Tournaments that you did not decline"
Unless I'm missing something, there's no option on the Tournaments page - - despite the presence of about six or seven different display defaults to toggle through - - that does not show finished tournaments.
It gets a little old seeing the tournaments portion of the site get more and more cluttered. You can always view finished tournaments as it stands now, either by selecting "All Tournaments" as the display option or by (not surprisingly) selecting "Finished Tournaments" as the display option.
How about a toggle for "Active Tournaments That You Did Not Decline"? It would get rid of finished…
24 votesI’m pleased to announce that WarLight now has an “Active tournaments you didn’t decline” filter! Thanks for the suggestion!

Put an icon next to players you have on your blacklist
This would put a small icon or some sort of visual indicator next to players you've blacklisted.
While this wouldn't matter for when you create your own games, this would be helpful for joining other player's games since it would allow you to know if you're joining a game with someone you've blacklisted.
23 votesI’m pleased to announce that players you have on your blacklist now have a small blacklist icon next to them!
This appears in the game lobby and main game. It also appears on the Open Games tab which makes it much easier to avoid joining games with players you have blacklisted.

Select player colors locally
Allow each player to select all players' colors locally. This would help people with impaired color vision a lot, but also other players may find this helpful.
21 votesYou can now update player’s colors locally! Check out the new “Change Color” button that appears after clicking on a player in the lower-right corner.

Airlift now could lift an entire bonus at once
The airlift card only gives you the possibility to lift only one territory to another at once. I would like an airlift card where you can airlift the armies of a whole bonus, big, small or with many bonuses inside at one point.
This can give you 3 advantages:
1 - When you play at big maps like big us or big worlds, if the neutrals are 1, 2 or more armies, there always are so many left overs all over your domain that are useless. In some cases, to regroup all those leftovers, not only takes forever but take…

Add tournament filter "Tournaments that I am not eliminated in and are currently in progress"
Just a new filter. I would like to see tournaments in which i am "active". Like to check if there will be some upcoming game, who is stalling tournament or to check chat.

Password protection for games.
Allow games to be protected with a password. Any player wishing to join must enter the password in order to join the game.
Possible uses:
Open games for friends or clanmates. Share the password with them (e.g. by e-mail, or an a clan forum), so anyone can join without being specifically invited.
In a large game, post the password for the new game. Anyone currently playing can now try to join the "open" game. However, other people could still request to join, even if they haven't been invited.
All of one player's games could be protected by the same password,…
18 votesYou can accomplish this by selecting the ‘invite by code’ option, then giving out that code to players you want to be able to join. Thanks for the suggestion!

A Global Map for the Clanwars
No need to invent the universe guys. http://worldoftanks.com/clanwars/maps/globalmap/ . World of tanks has a great idea of clanwars. There is a global map with teritories that give something every turn. It can be clan points or a currency in warlight or something. The general idea is clans can fight for teritories and each territory is on a diferent map. The way the clanwars it's self works can be like a mini tourment or each team can have up to 10 players and they can send 1 player to face the other teams's player. Kind of like how starcraft team tournaments…

Team chat in Diplo maps
I hope there was a feature in diplo maps where I could add people to a team chat in alliances.
Communication in large alliances becomes too tedious after a while.
The feature could work like a request feature. Anyone can send requests to others to be part of an alliance. The user will have to accept the request to be part of the team chat.
In the team chat, the creator of the alliance could remove users and the users can leave at their own will.
The creator of the map could also limit the number of people in an…

Save battleplan draft
This would allow you to deploy armies, make movements, play cards, then save those plans instead of committing them. This is important because it allows me to create and review my plans over a long period of time without keeping my browser open the whole time.
17 votesIt’s now possible to save orders and come back to them later! Check the announcement here: http://blog.warlight.net/index.php/2013/09/experimental-feature-orders-are-now-saved/
