Additional Sound Notifications
The idea is to add sound notifications to certain actions. Examples include: direct boot time has been reached, personal message received, public/team chat message received.
My primary motivation for this idea is that many times players think they have submitted their turn and minimize Warlight while doing something else, only to be booted a few minutes later because they don't realize the game is waiting for them.
These additional sounds would let users know that something is going on that they should take a look at. Most useful, in my opinion, would be a sound when the direct boot time has been reached, but only if you have not yet submitted your turn.

I agree with the comment on being able to enable / disable various sounds. Such as New game / New Turn / Troop deploy.

I like this one too, but I would like it enhanced with options for the user to enable / disable various sounds.

This is a great idea. I'd also love it, if the Warlight Notification used the last part of the "Attack Noise"

I think sound notification when you receive a pm would be great especially in 24 FFA games when you have to spend half of your time checking your PMs

this one is my favorite option, sur tout in situations where the host of a real-time game has not joined and everyone is waiting for him.... i really wish one could honk his computaaaa

Actually, it was the attack/transfer poit I was thinking of. On the other hand, I really like the 'kawoosh' when you click commit.

I wouldn't mind if ALL of the sounds were optional.
Okay, ALL of them ARE. Turn the volume down. I mean, I can think of a couple I'd love to turn off, particularly the 'you have placed some armies here' *POIT!*
