Open seat prerequisites
Game creators can set requirements that players must meet to join an Open Seat in their game.
Something which would allow you to specify variables like:
* Minimum no. of completed games
* Minimum days since registration
* Minimum win %
* Maximum boot % (so that if a player has been booted from 10% of the battles played, he's not allowed to join the battle)
Just a few rules like this, as I'm a multi day player... it's quite annoying when you create a 2-3 day turn pace battle with 12v12, and after the first 0-5 turns 1-5 ppl are already booted... usually players who just joined WarLight... IMHO, they should have started with a smaller battle to get a feel for the game...

I’m pleased to announce that this is now available! On the Customize Settings step of creating a game, you’ll notice a new tab named “Open Seats.” Select this, and you can set prerequisites that players must meet to join open seats in your game.

i would also add the time zones to the requirements.
that would be helpful for larger games, so that you don't have to wait while the others are sleeping =P3 votes for this :)

A majority of the games I start end that way since I can no longer remove players from my games. I don't bother to go to the trouble of creating a new game anymore since it is so involved and there is no way to recover from the trainwreck once it sits down at the table.

I'm all in for this one. I'm tired of people joining my games that have only played 1 game and then decide they don't want to continue playing. This has happened A LOT lately.

Well... a % of wins can be quite hard... I mean... winning 50% of FFA fights is very hard... :)

The best filter would be ranking (if we had a ranking system), but I like to use number of games the most. How long you've been registered wouldn't be much use as some people get hooked and play 100 games in a week and others have been playing for years and have no yet reached 100 games. Win % (especially of that game type, e.g. 1x1) is the next best criteria. Then I check avg move time to see if it's all sub 5 minutes (a sign you haven't played the stronger players). If you've played more than 100 games and won at least 50% it's usually a good game. BTW -- great idea.

Mate, that's a good idea.

I think the two most important ones for improving the quality of large battes are these:
* Minimum no. of completed games
* Minimum days since registrationAnd I think those are the two simplest to implement as well :)

Good point Matma. There should also be a rule to weed out people who surrender and then refuse to take another turn.

Well... I don't really care if we get all options... but just some control over who's joining the open seats... more than just the current blacklist...

At "maximum boot %" - I have quite a lot boots, but most of them are because people refused to accept my surrenders. This has to be fixed first :/
I'd vote, but I'm all out of votes.
