Vacation Status
This would be a temporary status granted to your account that would give you a certain number of days per year to allocate to 'vacation' days. When activated, your account would be unable to be booted from games. This helps those who take vacations with limited internet access, but wish to continue with all their games without being booted.
WarLight now allows you to put yourself on vacation! See the blog for full details: http://blog.warlight.net/index.php/2011/07/announcing-warlight-1-5/

I think this is a good idea, and I think the negative comments below are greatly overstating how often this would come into play. If you have something like a week every year you can use for vacation days, then the majority of games are going to happen without any players using it.
The one thing is that I don't think vacation days should apply to games with a boot time of less than 24 hours, otherwise you can have people joining 5 minute boot games, turning on their vacation, taking an hour to make a move, then turning it back off and booting the other player, or some other nonsense like that.

I agree with Zydox! This is not a game that should be extended indefinitely because players take vacation. Players join a game expecting it to be played continuously and should not find out after the game starts that the game is going to be delayed while one player takes time off. Players knowing they are going on vacation should not join new games that they do not have time to finish (or they can go on vacation and allow themselves to be booted when they do not play).

I would perfer a solution with backup players instead, as that wouldn't hold up games...
IMHO others shouldn't have to suffer because a player goes on vacation (which possible could turn into a insane waiting game if playing a 24 player battle)
