Ability to make and save notes on player.
This would allow the user to make notes on another player's profile (only visible to the person who made the note).
Some benefits:
- you can notate players who have betrayed your truces
- notate players who have been vulgar
- notate a player's strategy

It’s now possible to create and save notes on players!
Simply visit someone’s profile and click the new “Private Notes” button. These will be stored and kept only for you – other players will never be able to see them.
You can return later to view or edit the notes you wrote previously.

There are several players I've blacklisted over a year ago. Every now and then I find myself in a game with one and wonder what it was that I blacklisted them for? If there were a way to put in a small note, it would really help. Maybe use a Notepad feature with limited characters (16 or 24), and when you mouse over the "B", the notepad opens with whatever you put in there.

Good idea. I'd like to make notes on players I blacklist. Some I wont play with at all again, others Im happy to play against but not with etc.

Either/or- but I too feel it would be a good idea to annotate as to WHY I blacklisted someone as there are 3 or 4 main reasons. Vulgarity, treason, stupid booter, etc... Notes I could leave to myself, or stars easy enough to assign value--- 1 star=?, 2=? etc.

I agree that rating players might be enough and much efficient.
It would be great to see that personal rating on the screen where we join/decline games.Of course, it's kind of a duplicate of the blacklist system, so maybe the blacklisting could have another added value : maybe anyone should see how many times the player has been blacklisted? Personally when I blacklist someone, it's when he is vulgar or really, really bad. But with a star system I would only do it when he is vulgar. And no one wants to be insulted while playing...

Together with this function I would like to see some simple star rating for players. 5 stars for players you want to see again, one for those you never want to play again with. You can only rate players you played with. All ratings can be averaged and published as a global rating. From your and the global rating, you easiliy get overall impression of a player's abilitiy and behaviour.
In principle now-a-days rating like you can find on amazon:
ex.
Player 1: 3.5 stars (23 votes), your vote: 4 stars
