Public API
This would allow software developers to extract information, send commands programatically, and all sorts of other fun stuff. Like AI battles.

WarLight has a rudimentary API that allows you to do some things. You can read about it here:
You can’t yet play games, but you can get game information.

Great idea, but I'd settle for an API that would just let me get a list of games currently waiting for me to move, etc (as opposed to actually allowing gameplay, which I'm sure would be a lot more complex to implement). With this, I'd be able to write a Chrome plugin which would provide a popup every time my turn comes up in a game -- without having to constantly check the WL site!

Yessss. I want it now! :D I've been trying to poke with the data WarLight is sending back and forth all the time, but to no avail - silly binary serialization and stuff :(
