Map that changes every turn
What about implementing a mechanism that would allow creating maps that change between turn. I know it sound crazy or stupid but I first thought about it seeing the SolarSystem map. I thought that it could be improved if the planets rotate around the sun, and the connection between them opens only from time to time, when the distance between planets is the smallest.
Another implementation could be the "CUBE". Some of you might remember the once very popular movie "Cube" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0123755/) where few people are placed in the large cube divided into mash of small cubes. They could move between the small cubes, while each cube was connected to 6 neighboring cubes in 3D. The trick was that from time to time the small cubes moved so that after the transformation any given cube was connected to different (random) cubes than before the transformation.
As I think about this, the only constant thing should be the number of territories. The number and content of bonuses could (but to not have to be) constant. Of course the connections between territories should change after every turn - that's the whole point of my idea.
I do realize that implementation of such mechanism is probably difficult. On the other hand, nothing's impossible.
Anyways, would like to see others opinions.

Sounds awesome! If I get votes, I'm voting for this, and if it gets started and completed, I'll build a floating antarctica map in your honor!
