The release card - allows new players to join mid-game
The release card would allow a player to use any quantity of their own territories to invite a new specific player, an open seat or an AI mid-game. The card would “unplay” itself if the open seat or the specific player doesn’t accept by the time the boot timer is passed. This would be great for the diplo community. The player limit will of course still be held.

@Nathan Johnson: you have to own the territories in order to use the card on them, meaning that you have to sacrifice your own land to bring in new players

One thing I didn't see addressed is when a player is booted, who gets to replace them? Obviously everyone will want their friend in the game so will the host get first dibs at using the card, is it luck based, or is it whichever player accepts the invitation to the game first? Perhaps games can have a waiting list so that when a game boots a player, the waiting player is invited to the game automatically.
