Eliminate deployment round
Did you ever step away from years of ingrained patterns about the way Risk works, and imagine whether having a deployment round is necessary in this game?
How about combining the deployment round and the transfer/attack round into one round?
I think this might make playing the game simpler. It may make the game easier to explain, too, there's no need to explain that there is a thing called a deployment round and a separate thing called a transfer/attack round. It might also lead UI simplifications, as there'd then only be two things to do: deploy/transfer/attack, and commit. Possibly one could get rid of the concept of a round completely.
