Highlight region - help find region boundaries for hard to see regions or unusual regions
It'd be nice if there were a hot key, say "r", where, when you've selected a tile, you press "r", and the region containing the current tile is highlighted.
I know there are some ways to do find a region boundary, but as a new user I didn't find them to work very well. I have lost games because I could not tell where a region was. Very frustrating. Only after a couple of days did I discover the hot keys P and M. But they don't seem to do anything for me. The little plus and minus icons on the bottom right side of the map I did not even see - they are very faint, I have a large monitor, and the icons are so far from the map that I didn't even notice them.
In the inspect phase of a turn, you can check which territories belong to which bonus. Clicking on bonus links also highlights which territories are in the bonus.

Thanks. That won't help much unless you already know the territories in the bonus. When I wrote the post I did not know that you can click on a bonus to highlight the territories in the bonus. I also didn't know that a territory could be part of more than one bonus. The most effective way I've found so far to solve the problem in the OP is to try to guess which bonus or bonuses a territory is in, and click on them. The original suggestion would still be nice, I think, because when I'm focused on a territory it'd be convenient and more in flow to be able to hit "r" or "b" or something to see the bonuses that contain the territory. Much better than having to move the mouse away from the territory, guess which bonus or bonuses contain the territory and then move the mouse back to the territory to resume whatever I was doing before. It's also easy to make a mistake with this method if one isn't aware that there might be more than one bonus, or doesn't see one of the bonuses because the bonus is far away from the territory on the screen, or in some unexpected placement relative to the territory.

On PC - click territory->more info->click on bonus, that the territory is in
(optionaly): ->more info->click on territories in that bonus one by one
