Summary of card pieces in settings menu
There is a great many cards in WL, each with a lot of settings. With each card divided into a different number of pieces, of which you get a fixed minimum number per turn and then there's a number of random pieces... distributed by configurable weights... It becomes rather complicated; even experienced players might not be able to see, at a glance, how all the card settings will combine.
How about adding an "executive summary" (both in the create-game screen and on the settings page, which people /should/ check before joining the game), like so:
Current version (in Game Settings menu):
Reinforcements Card: In 3 pieces for 10 armies (minimum 1 piece per turn, weight is 2)
Airlift Card: In 6 pieces
Diplomacy: In 7 pieces to last for 2 turns (minimum 1 piece per turn)
Number of card pieces per turn: 7
Suggested version (for Game Settings menu; something similar for the Create Game menu):
Reinforcements Card: In 3 pieces for 10 armies (minimum 1 piece per turn, weight is 2)
Airlift Card: In 6 pieces
Diplomacy: In 7 pieces to last for 2 turns (minimum 1 piece per turn)
Number of card pieces per turn: 7
Average number of pieces per turn (per player / per team):
Reinforcements Card: 3.5 pieces / 10.5 pieces
Airlift Card: 1.25 pieces / 3.75 pieces
Diplomacy: 2.25 pieces / 6.75 pieces
Notes and caveats:
These numbers are for a team of three players, in practice this would of course depend on the team size. (I'm not sure how to deal with games having unbalanced team sizes... the easy way out would be to only display the per-player number.) This tacitly assumes all players conquer a territory each turn; the wording could benefit from some fine-tuning.

There are now icons that summarise game settings, including cards. There is also a summery of the settings in game menu settings in the new Unity client.
