  1. UI Suggestions

    After playing warlight the last few days for the first time, here are some suggestions. Apogies if they replicate stuff - didn't see these in the wiki.

    (a) Hot keys for deployments. One way: plus = add 1 to current tile, minus = subtract 1 from current file, 0 = set deployment to 0 for current tile, 1 = set deployment to all available for current tile.

    (b) When one has selected a movement, have the escape key take abandon the move. The only way I know to do this now is to select a destination and then select CANCEL.

  2. Eliminate deployment round

    Did you ever step away from years of ingrained patterns about the way Risk works, and imagine whether having a deployment round is necessary in this game?

    How about combining the deployment round and the transfer/attack round into one round?

    I think this might make playing the game simpler. It may make the game easier to explain, too, there's no need to explain that there is a thing called a deployment round and a separate thing called a transfer/attack round. It might also lead UI simplifications, as there'd then only be two things to do: deploy/transfer/attack, and commit. Possibly one…

  3. Some random new card thoughts

    Agreed. Some new cards could be fun.

    Here's some I can think up on the spot, so imagine if we put so true thought into theses.

    Blitzkrieg, gives you a multiple attack option. So if you kill the territory the armies continue on to the next territory in the same turn. -Cool in games without the multi attack option

    Nuke. It kills bonus and makes it radioactive for 3 three turns. - Defensive or Offensive strategy

    Predator missile, like the paratroops but kills a territory instantly. - takes a super bonus out of the picture for one turn

  4. Icon & Shield pixel plus pattern as well as colour

    Choose from a list of icons or upload your own 16x16 pixel icon.
    Plus add pattern and icon to maps instead of just a single colour.

  5. Draft Card

    Draft Card-
    Function: Increases military income by x% for y turns
    Why: Allows for a stronger flow of income over a longer period of time.
    Difficulty- Increases. It makes it possible for someone in a losing position to turn the game around.

  7. Ability to give individual territories an army bonus

    I think that the ability to pick out individual territories and give them bonuses (Ex. Eastern Australia inside Australia), I think that this would be absolutely AMAZING and game changing for things like diplomacy games, where you have a capital territory, or if you just want to have some motivation to fight for a certain part of the map, or just make things more interesting in general.

  8. I'd like to know who blacklistedme

    some people blacklist others unreasonably, like i was blacklisted for requesting a fair game and not accept to rejoin a game moving from A to B. that seems alright, coz we both dislike each other,but that fact will hinder a third person's host. that stupid man will not join once he saw me. so by any chance i would like to know whoever blacklisted me and i'm willing to have a pleasant talk with him see if we can forgive one another

  11. Invitation Mess (Refused/Removed players)

    When you invite players and they decline or you remove them, they will continue on the game lobby. It creates a confusion when there is teams or slots assigned, as we'll have more then one player assigned to each slot and uneven teams.

    Even though we can see which players declined and which got removed, I believe it's unpratical and unapealing for other players to join the game.

    I propose these players are effectively removed from the game lobby or at least displayed on another part of it.

  12. See the accumulated troop income for a mega bonus

    normally when selecting a bonus you see the "armies per turn" for that bonus.
    It would be nice to able to select a mega bonus which shows the accumulated armies per turn for that area.

    Example: Rise Of Rome... selecting the "Hispania" area, would show 10 armies per turn (accumulated 32) something like that....

  13. hello, luv this game. would it be possible to add the rematch option to the android version?

    It is possible to open a rematch game on the computer version of the game. I would luv it if u could add this feature to the android version.

  14. Real-Time strategic 2v2 autogame

    ATM, there's only an autogame for Strategic 2v2 in multi-day, but not real-time. I think there should be a real-time version of it as well. Maybe 5 min boot + 8 min banked for the entire game and only bootable automatically, when all your time runs out. (8 min banked for time to discuss orders.)

  15. addition of a reason textbox for declining games,ladders and tournaments

    Add a textbox that allows you to explain why you delcined a game, ladder or a tournament.

  16. Territory Cap

    Useful mostly for diplo games. If the territory cap is set to 5 and you have control over 100 armies you can only have 20 territories (100 / 5 = 20) If a player looses a lot of armies when they control their maximum number of territories they will not lose any territories. but will have to collect up more armies again to expand. This makes sense because in real world a military cant control infinite amount of land if they dont have enough power.

  17. View neighboring territories

    Add something to the UI to easily view the neighboring territories for a territory you don't control. On some maps it is not obvious. I am using the Android app. Sorry if that exists already. Thanks and great game.

  19. Maybe have a random event generator.

    Setting 1. Frequency 0 to 100% per turn
    2. Faverable event 0 to 100%
    3. Unfaverable event 0 to 100%
    4 completely random 0 to 100%

    Could be anything from: bad weather can move in or out of a territory, random rebelion ( small teritory with small amount of troops rebel ) sicknes ( loose 30 to 50% troops) healthy crop ( 50 to 200% production in one spot. Typhoon/ huricaine, can cross a certain area, storms etc ) on and on etc.... wouldnt be to hard to do

  20. Games with built in handicaps based on starting settings

    Games with built in handicaps based on starting settings.
    Examples:
    Team A gets 3 starts/player, Team B gets 4 starts/player
    Team A gets 5 armies/start, Team B gets 9 armies/start

    With Custom Scenario, you know exactly where the starts are, so removes a lot of the fun of the game.

    Maybe they would have to be practice games.
