  1. Create a clan warfare system

    Right now, there's no way clans are able to officially compete against one another, leading to a trend in "clan warfare" that involves just hijacking and destroying other people's clans through vulnerabilites in the manager system.

    Instead, it'd be great to be able to either track the win rate (in all non-FFA ranked or 1v1 ranked games) of one clan against others (maybe a page where it can say "Clan A members have won 53% of games against members of Clan B"). This could be as simple as incrementing three counters when both players of a ranked game- one that…

  2. Diplomacy scenario

    Maybe you saw docens of "Diplo" suggestions Fizzer but why not check one?

    Some simple diplomacy settings.

    Diplomacy mode: unlock Declare button and Diplomacy button

    Declare button:
    declare War, Truce, or Alliance
    - declare War for unlock attack possibility against one with optional 0-1-2 turns delay, declare war is public in chat and Diplomacy tab
    - declare Truce for end war status, declare truce is private in pm, if the opponent accept the truce is public in chat and Diplomacy tab, if the opponent refuse war status remain in public
    - declare Alliance to create teams, alliance is public in…

    I’m pleased to announce that peace treaties / diplomacy games can now be played using the new mod framework!

    Check out the mod “Advanced Diplo v2”, which has a war/peace/allies system, and a lot of other neat features that work with this!

  3. Clan PM system

    so basically when u want urgent news to be spread to all your clan members u can just click messages and send clan message and type ur notice. then all the members in the clan will receive this message.

    this could be limited to once a day or such to prevent spamming

    (its used in other games with clan systems to great effect)

  4. Make 1 army left behind a highlighted setting

    When this it turned off, it should be a highlighted setting. Or alternatively, allow the user to select which way they want it highlighted.

  5. Allow a "Show-All" visual -like that seen during the game - during History Review

    Right now, you have to scroll through every move or just get a gross overview of the before/after turn by turn. A Show all would be a visual of what happened during that turn

  7. Clan Invites

    People are getting tired of receiving countless spam Clan Invites. Since clans that spam this invites are disliked, but perfectly within the rules of the game, I have some filter proposals:

    1st.
    All players that are within a clan CAN NOT be invited to a clan! If a player wishes to join a different clan he must first leave his clan and then receive his clan invite.

    This is quite simple, and I seriously doubt anyone would oppose this.

    2nd.
    Players that are on your Blacklist CAN NOT send you a Clan Invite.

    This is just common sense. ^^

  8. Add tournament stats to profiles

    Your profile can show the number of tournaments you've played in, and the number of times you've gotten 1st/2nd/3rd/etc place.

    You can now add tournament stats on your profile!

    Simply edit your profile and click the new button “Change Favorite Tournaments” and then pick which ones you’d like to display.

  9. Vacation Status

    This would be a temporary status granted to your account that would give you a certain number of days per year to allocate to 'vacation' days. When activated, your account would be unable to be booted from games. This helps those who take vacations with limited internet access, but wish to continue with all their games without being booted.

  10. Show teammate's orders in real time as they build them

    Be able to see the movements of your team mates in the planning stages of the game so you may coordinate attacks and transfers with greater ease.

  11. Skip watching deployment but watch everything else

    When you would like to view the moves but do not want to see where everyone distributes their armies, you can skip the deployment and go straight to the moves. In the larger games it takes forever to go through where everyone deploys there 500 armies but it is crucial to strategy to see how they use them.

  12. Be more colorblind friendly

    Ugh I typed this whole thing and then found it I had no votes left and it all got deleted, sorry but I really don't feel like typing that all again...

    Basically I need names in the order bar such as "Matts' card wore off" instead of just "card wore off" with a color box because I can not tell the difference between some colors.

    You now have the ability to change your color in games. This helps colorblind people since they can select colors that are more easy for them to see. Check out the new “Change Color” button that appears when clicking on a player in the lower-right corner.

  13. show game url in address bar

    It would be great if the actual game url was displayed in the browser's address bar. That way if someone has to reload because of connection (or some other issues) they automatically get to the active game.

    It wouldn't be hard to implement using the HTML5 history API, which is supported by all major browsers. (http://caniuse.com/#feat=history)

    eg:
    import flash.external.ExternalInterface;
    ExternalInterface.call("history.pushState({},'',"+game_url+")");
    on loading a new game.

    (One could even listen to the popstate event and make the browser's back button work properly. :)

  14. Remember community levels you've played

    Add a page where you can see community levels you've played. This would make it easier to remember what levels you've played or resume a level you were playing recently without having to find it in the list again.

  16. Don't require surrenders to be accepted in Free For All games

    I would like it if surrenders would happen automatically and not need to be accepted in Free For All games.

    I like to know I can leave a game if I want without getting booted. Another thing that I like is knowing when someone is surrendered so I can base my orders on it. Oftentimes I don't know if someone's surrender is going to go through this turn so I have to use troops and assume it won't, when I could use them elsewhere.

    The only reason I can think of not accepting someone else's surrender in a FFA is…

    Game creators have their choice of whether or not surrenders must be accepted.

    However, I am pleased to announce that the map-of-the-week games no longer require surrenders to be accepted! Thanks for the suggestion!

  17. For ranked stats on profiles, separate team games from non-team games

    Your stats in your profile would break down into Team Games and FFA's. So for a 4 person game win, you would have stats for 2v2's, 1v1v1v1 (FFA), (no need for 3v1). I think a 8 person FFA win is way harder to do than a 4v4 win.

    Your profiles now show team games separate from FFA games!

    Note that games with uneven teams (such as 3v1) are no longer included, since there’d be no way to tell if you were on the bigger or smaller side.

  19. Allow distributing bonus armies only within bonuses

    Currently, all of a player's armies can be distributed on any of a player's territories. With this option enabled in a game, a bonus can only be distributed in the territories that comprise the bonus, and must be moved to the frontier using normal means. This makes for games with a more balanced distribution of armies, and reduces the advantage for the player with the most bonuses.

  20. Improved Tournament Settings

    (1) Real-time tournament results/rankings.
    (2) More advanced tiebreakers.
    (3) Rotating Teammates RR Tournaments: Each player plays with every other player at least once. The tournament (2v2 or 3v3) then plays out. The winner is the individual whose teams won the most games. http://www.jdawiseman.com/papers/tournaments/individual-pairs/individual-pairs.html
    (4) New Round, New Template: Each round in the tournament has a different template.

    (5) Host can reduce number of players needed to start (in case the tournament does not start in a reasonable amount of time).
