Commanders - rank picks separate from territory picks
Automatically getting the highest ranked pick as your commander spot is bad. There should be a separate ranking for your commander location as well, and you submit both at once.

You can change the rank of your picks easily. I'd be fine with having a notification that it's a commander game. Then it's not a surprise with the commander ending up in the wrong country.

Too complex, this will never go through, although it isn't a bad idea.
