Color unity for team games
In the larger games it is sometimes a chore to figure out who is on your team and who is not. If we could have the a team color or perhaps stripes or some other visual way to see who is on your team and who is not- it saves time from clicking on a territory and then scrolling down the team lists.
WarLight now has a feature that allows you to change player’s color. You can use this to change a team to similar or identical colors which makes it easier to visualize what territories a team controls. Check out the new “Change Color” button that appears when clicking on a player in the lower-right corner.

would be great to see a team color outside of their borders, but still each player have their own color inside the borders.

I absolutely agree with Fotios. That's a great idea, and not just because I've thought of it myself in some larger team games.

Gave this three votes, and I agree with both of you.
I was alternatively thinking it would be fine to choose my color each match, and have a limited number of choices to pick from (say, reds/browns vs. blues/greens), depending on the setup.
I'm not committed to "Desert Rose."

This would be a good option for team games. Teams could get assigned color groups, like reds, greens, blues, etc. Then give them the choice to pick a color among those for their team. While it still may be harder to differentiate between orange-red, red, or orange, at least you will now know they're on the same team.
I don't think being forced into a color group will adversely affect players; I have yet to see somebody quit because they could not have "their color".

The team color would be on the border of the owned territory.
