Player colors in the bonus window of map making
If you are making a map, while setting the color for bonuses, there are no color options for the player colors. This would add the player colors to the bonus window, making it easier to have a bonus the same as a player color. If the player's color is exactly the same as the bonus color, the outline of the territory will appear lighter, making it easier to see which territories connect
It’s already possible to select a player-pickable color for a bonus, either by clicking the correct box or typing in the hex code.
I assume your idea is to make it easier to do so, by presenting a list of player-pickable colors in addition to the entire palette.
In the past, it was actually very important that map makers avoid player colors, since if a player with that color ended up controlling that bonus, it would be impossible to see the borders.
Today, however, WarLight adjusts the stroke color if they match, so that the borders are still visible. So it isn’t as absolutely necessary to avoid player-pickable colors, but I would still argue that it’s a good idea to avoid them since changing the stroke color is disorienting and can lead to confusion about where the bonuses are.
Adding the player colors as direct options would tell map makers that it’s a good idea, when in fact, it’s not a good idea, and is generally discouraged.

Fizzer,
I think you misunderstood the point. The "problem" is that the stroke colour will only be changed if it matches a player colour *exactly*, not when it's technically different but visually identical (lame example: #FFFFFF vs #FFFFFC).
On the other hand, you have a very good point as well.
Would it be possible to make the stroke colour also change when a bonus and a player have a near-identical colour? That would still achieve the goal of the original suggestion, but without running into the problem you mentioned.
