Surrender must be accepted by teammates only
I never been in a game where I didn't want to accept my opponents surrender, but many where I didn't want to accept my teammate.
Many games get delayed a lot because people are slow to accept surrender.

I've been in a couple where I didn't want to accept an opponent's surrender, but out of thousands of games, I think it happened twice. That said, that would be a great feature to add as a toggle button in settings creation.
Also, if you turn into AI, accepting is a good way to let your team mate peace out of a game without losing their income for yourself.
P.S. Auto accepting your teammates surrender when you surrender would be Awesome too!

Totally agree. Imho, this is the only case where that feature even makes sense, making sure your teammates are on board with the surrender directive.
To your point, who cares if your opponent(s) do or don't want you to surrender? Just prolongs a game that's already over. Doesn't make sense in 1v1 or team games.
And in FFAs, it's even worse, b/c there's always 1 idiot who either hasn't noticed or doesn't care, and it takes a long time to surrender.
I've played in 1 FFA where there was 1 idiot who intentional didn't accept surrenders until he bordered the person. He wanted everyone to stay in the game and fight each other, until they were a threat to him, then he would accept. So of course we all banded together to kill him, lol.
The feature causes more issues than whatever problem it was meant to solve. Once someone has checked out of a game, it's hard to reel them back in simply b/c you don't accept their surrender.
In a team game, at least there's a legit reason, to discuss tactics/possibilities, and give time to reconsider surrendering.

Looks like a no-brainer to me.

This would certainly save time. You can make it even easier by having a function that auto accept your teammates surrender when you yourself surrender.
