Improved AI
As it is, after playing a few initial games against the AI, it's fairly easy to win against it unless you really stack the odds against yourself.
I'd really like to see more work put into this, as AI games are really the only alternative when you're waiting for a ton of real games to move to the next turn.
One thing in particular that I've noticed that I'd like to change is that the AI seems to not act in areas of low activity at times. E.G. I'm in a match right now where the players cannot fight, only the AIs can, and the players can airlift armies to their AI partners. The issue is, a number of AIs are caught up in fights with each other on borders, and they completely ignore places where they could expand into open territory -without even expending additional armies-. If you airlift armies to a place where they can expand without resistance, they'll simply ignore it. This is clearly not in the self interest of the AI, and it -seems- like what's happening is the AI is designed to prioritize areas of high activity, where their actions will be most visible, and ignore areas where nothing is happening.
