    I've been thinking about this.... and Imho all you need to implement would be sub-groups to the invite list... you could make a subgroup for friends, a sub-group for people that break truces, for trolls, for people you rp with, for your clan, w/e..

    I was actually thinking about this idea with the Diplomacy map.. considering how the diplomacy game works, I think that a max armies/territ working with the current army cap system, might actually make it possible to make a nearly perfect imitation of the 'Diplomacy' game..

    agreed with Matma..

    but Randy wants his games to be highly customizable, so the map creator would only likely be able to put in a defense modifier to territories, that could be changed by the game creator's.. Albiet again, this would be another feature i would love to see for Scenario's... IE, WWII the French Fortifications along the german front, etc.

    I agree with Matma, and i have great respect for the few people that i have played with that we had to extend a real time game to the next day, and then having come back to find the game still on my list..

    I agree with this idea fully, even if it does seem to have been stopped mid-thought.

    coupled with the scenario's Idea, this would be useful... want to create a war between Spain and France? make those territories into ownable, and block off the escape routes... is greater then ridiculous wastelands only in the instances when you use AI, as they will build to break, no matter how incredible the size is...

    I like this idea.. a similar idea is to let people take over anyone that is past say boot time, or boot time X2 *maybe take over for AI's in games where it's designed for it*
    www.webdiplomacy.com allows you to do similar.. it has set turns for X time instead of until everyones moved, but it should work in a similar fashion with AI's inputted.. someone could come in and take over for said AI, at the point when they show up, and continue to play..
