Allow map creators to define different defensive rates on each territory
Terrain features modify defensive values on attacks
Hello!
Warzone just launched the Features Request Forum, which is replacing the old UserVoice forum! This offers a lot of improvements over UserVoice, such as the ability to see who is voting for each item and expiring votes from inactive players.
If you still care about this UserVoice item, please put your votes into it on the new Feature Request Forum at https://www.warzone.com/Forum/f12-Feature-Requests

Would be even better if the bonuses could be increased by the player in-game in exchange of troops. Bonuses could be balanced, in example:
- 5 troops on that territory
+ 6% Defense of that territory
- 4% Attack from that territory (to balance)
_____________________________________- 5 troops on that territory
+ 6% Attack from that territory
- 4% Defense of that territory (to balance)
_____________________________________- 5 troops on that territory
+ 15% of troop "production" for that region
- 50% Attack from that territory (to balance)This would add a whole new dimension to the game, specialising regions in production, making bottlenecks more valuables, ... Evenmore, bonuses on a teritory could be mantained even if the territory is captured by another player.

This would add for a lot more interesting maps! If local defensive bonuses can be modified, I guess it wouldn't take much to modify offensive bonuses aswell

agreed with Matma..
but Randy wants his games to be highly customizable, so the map creator would only likely be able to put in a defense modifier to territories, that could be changed by the game creator's.. Albiet again, this would be another feature i would love to see for Scenario's... IE, WWII the French Fortifications along the german front, etc.

This might be interesting, but I think that Randy will refuse it anyway since it would make the game much more complicated, and he's strongly against that.

Add terrain features to the maps, like mountains, deserts, rivers, etc., that modify the defense when attacked. For example, if a region is mountainous, an attack will either be cut in half or the defense will be doubled (just for the duration of the attack). A river on the border of a region may increase the defense by 10% or something. A desert may reduce the defense (no place to hide).
