  1. Diplomacy mode

    A great thing would be a Diplomacy mode added to FFA and Teams. This would enable people to add others to temporary teams when forming alliances and to make it so that you can airlift an ally, transfer to an ally and have to wait for at least 1 turn after disbanding an alliance to attack them. This would be good for hosts in diplos to control the amount of allies people are allowed to have.     • More Purchasable Colors

      More special colors added into the game would be cool. See, I would like to purchase a special color only my friend is getting Tyrian purple, Mardi Gras looks exactly like Electric purple, Royal Blue is strongly similar to Light blue and smoky black is way too expensive

      Maybe if you added stuff like Jade Green, etc for 14$. up to 8 special colors would be great so that competitive players can all get their own individual colors that few people have. Also Silver and Gold would be nice for 20/30$. Like really rich, sparkly colors.

        It would be great if you implemented a system that would enable you to leave 0 armies behind in a territory and make the territory no longer belong to you/ This is realistic as when you have no troops in a territory, it is no longer yours. This would be great for the chess 1v1 map as well as the Sudoku 1v1 and several other strategic maps that are different to your typical warlight games.

        • Why are not all colors (like rain forest) pickable as primary color?

          More pickable colors (especially rain forest) since you only see them in huge games with many players but you cant set them as primary color

            Quests: can be enabled by getting a quest card that tells you to take a special territory to later gain more armies, you customize the special territories that can be chosen for the cards yourself.

            Events: can be for example that your troops get stuck on a territory so that they can´t be moved for a certain amount of turns or that a percenatge of them gets stuck.

            • Clean up Ladder list of teams

              If you go to a ladder, it says "there are currently (x) teams on the ladder", while showing the top 10. If you hit "Show All" then it shows all the ranked teams, plus (y) teams. These teams may have not played the ladder in years. For example, on the 3v3 ladder, there are 34 active teams. If you hit show all, it shows 289 teams on there, and I have no idea what the sort is on the unranked teams.

              Suggestion 1: Don't show any teams that have no unexpired games. Why are these listed on the ladder page…

                Have you ever had a game with friends you really like and would hate fighting against but tired of taking your turn and don't really wanna quit?                   To me, this may be very nearly the most elegant solution to deployment issues possible.

                  Years ago I played a little game called "Pax Solaris." I still have the demo.

                  It had a wonderful routing system for easily moving armies around your territory on a continual basis. I think Warlight should us a nearly identical system.

                  The way it could work in Warlight is this. In addition to the current system being used for moving armies--click one of your territories, click another territory to move armies to, then select the number of armies to move--you'd be able to set up…

                    Pretty self-explanatory. This wouldn't invalidate older viral achievements, just make new ones that would say something like "Viral Achievement: 2017 Jul". The players starting with the virus would be the top 8 people of all the official ladders (so best player in 1v1 ladder, seasonal, and realtime, best teams in 2v2 and 3v3. All the people in the #1 spot, in other words.). Also, perhaps the leader in coin revenue could also start with the viral achievement.

                    Other possible features that would go nicely with this, but are probably harder to code, so they're not absolutely needed:

                      Since I noticed that sometimes errors, that make it impossible to commit, could occur especially with pretty complex mods, so I'd like to suggest that players can first be booted after an extra day(1day 1h) after getting a mod error, that makes it impossible to commit(just one try is required, mod creators get just one time 1h. Since I might have explained it a little bit complex, this is the formula:
                      boot time normal player: time since last failed commit + 1day + 1h
                      boot time mod creator: time since first failed commit + 1h

                            Create separate attack/defense kill rates for attacks over water. This would be more realistic since attacks over water are more difficult and require more logistics in real life. This would add a new dimension to the maps and make them a lot more meaningful. Islands would be more valuable, easier to defend and more difficult to attack. These would be customizable by the game creator and could have their own default values.

                            • Commanders: Increase Their Value after each Victory

                              Each time a commander participates in a battle, increase its value a little. As a game progresses, army numbers increase, but the commander is always valued at 7 I believe. After a commander wins an attack or defends a territory, his value increases by like 1. This would encourage players taking more risks and using the commander more often, instead of hiding them in a safe area to aviod them getting defeated.

                                It would be helpful to be able to keep notes on a specific match being played out, especially for multi-day games.

                                I believe this could be easily and quickly accomplished by allowing players to send private notes to themselves.

                                    Currently, the only bonus information shown is ID, Name, Value, and Territory ID's, but Color is not shown. Bonus colors should be available in the API.
                                    Territory center points are also not found anywhere in the API. It would be nice to have those accessible as well.

                                      This card will allow for people to place armies on tiles that are not connected to tiles they own. This could help with players who have very little territories or as a way for them to locate enemy armies. This would deploy four troops instead of five so it wouldn't be to over powered but stil be able to take a normal two army tile easily. This could also be used as an attack on an enemy territory too.

                                      • Multi-day Tournament Banked Time - Request

                                        I checked all threads and also how it is implemented in some games shown as "there should be the way to have banked time as some tournaments use it", and I only found one conclusion - banked time cannot be used in multi-day tournaments. Banked time in template is overridden when you are asked for the boot time settings in tournament.

                                        There is a way to use it in Real Time Tournaments, but it is fixed to 5 minutes total without a way to raise it in the game.

                                          Multiplayer games with added boot time can be a pain if a player leaves prior to taking the opening move. Everyone sits and waits 10 minutes for them to be booted. Why not have a setting which either removes banked time for turn 1 AND/OR has a shorter clock for say turns 1-5 and then full time limit thereafter. It would get of any no-shows quickly and get the game off to a good start.
