  2. Global ELO rating for members

    "It would be a great incentive to buy the membership, and would probably reduce both alts usage and farming.

    The idea:
    ALL ranked games of members and non-members count.
    ELO will be calculated for every player, regardless of whether he is a member or not.
    The ELO score will be available only for the member accounts.
    There will be NO tool to see what ELO is a non-member.
    Games could include ELO prerequisite which would automatically make the game Member-only.

    The dashboard can list the global rankings similar to those of ladders.
    Games included in the elo should expire…

  3. Search/Filter Criteria for Past Games

    Allow us to search our own past games based on game settings.

    Some filters could include:
    Game Name
    Map
    Active/Ended
    Multi-Attack
    Local Deployments
    Army Cap
    No-split Mode
    Extra Armies per territory
    Commanders
    Custom Scenario
    Template ID
    1v1, 2v2, 2v2v2, 3v3, 4 player FFA, etc

  4. Ability to donate coins first to other players (with no fee) and then to charity!

    I would like to donate coins to another player without having to incur a fee or have them show up as won coins for that player.

    Then another great option since we can no longer cash out coins would be the ability to donate them to a charity of your choice on Omaze. You pick the charity and every 100 coins =$1 donated to them. Work out a deal with them, so its allowed and counts as an entrance into their drawings as well.

    For example I choose to donate to a solar project where they are also giving away…

  5. Allow Diplomacy Card to apply to Neutral

    This feature would be to add neutrals to the list of selectable players. What this would do would hinder your opponent so that they couldn't expand for a certain amount of turns. This could turn the tide for the losing end and get them back in the game.

  6. Item Spaces

    Create a new setting that allows players to collect card pieces in a new way: item spaces! Through a variety of settings, game creators can choose types of card pieces to be dispersed and replenished throughout the map on certain territories. Players could be given more reason to reach certain locations. These items could appear only at the beginning, or new items can pop up as turns progress. I think it could be a fun new setting to play around with!

  7. Different Map for Ladder

    I would suggest we change the map for the Ladder. It is very boring, I have never been a big fan of any Earth maps. I think a good map would be Imperuim Romanum (especially for the 2v2 ladder). It is a very balanced, and much more interesting map. Medium Earth at this point has been overused, and a bad map for 2v2s in my opinion.

  8. Content Ratings for Players/Games

    Proposed Rules:
    1. All players start at a rating of "E" for everyone.
    2. Players can be reported for obscene language or graphics (same as today).
    3. A players council made up of players from the game will review the report.
    4. If the player is deemed obscene, they will be marked as “M” for mature.

    When forming a game. The game maker will choose “E” or “M” for the game rating.

    Playing games under the new Rules:
    1. Anyone can opt-in to see “M” content.
    2. Games started by “M” players will only be visible by opt-ed in “M”…

    surrendering players automatically accepts all surrenders.
    many times players in one team surrender but they don't accept each other's surrenders, so the game is stalled until one of them is booted or something.

    100 lives Singe-Player challenge

    If you have heard about super Mario maker and super expert run, this concept would be familiar too you.

    You get 100 lives (attempts). You select a difficulty and try to beat X stages before you run out of lives. Every time you restart a level or get eliminated etc. you loose a life.

    Easy : 16 stages/levels (more then 30% win rate?)
    Normal : 12 levels (10-30%)
    Expert : 8 levels (3 -10%)
    Super Expert : 6 levels (>3%)

  12. New Statistic: Number of Times I Eliminate Somebody

    I want it to be like boxing, where KOs and TKOs mean something.

    KO: I killed the guy.

    TKO: I'm about to kill the guy, he has less than 5 armies in one spot next to me but the game ends (by surrender).

    At the very least, I'd like to see KOs counted on my statistics. It's always great to eliminate. If a statistic kept track of it, it'd make the games more enjoyable.

  13. Free deployment of initial armies

    Instead of having a fixed amount of initial armies per territory, game creators should be able to allow "free deployment of initial armies". After either manual or random distribution of territories is completed and before turn 1 starts, players then can deploy the amount of initial armies set by the game creator freely between the territories they actually got. The amount of initial armies could either be a whole new value set by the game creator, or it could be derived from the other game settings (initial armies per territory -1(since each territory must have at least 1 starting army)…

  14. Mail button update/Delete Mails

    Mail update: When you click on the orange mail button indicating that you have new mail, it should take you to the newest post.

    Also, an option to delete mail threads (which would ease load on the WarLight servers as well)

  15. Friend-or-foe colors

    Make a way to quickly change local colors to a color scheme that has members of the same team with similar colors, with you having your preferred color. For example, if you're in a game with three teams, and your preferred color is green, activating this function would make the following changes:

    1. Your color is changed to green.

    2. Your allies' colors are changed to colors near green.

    3. One enemy team would get reddish colors and the other would get bluish colors.

    It would be great to have some type of clan ranking. The actual list of clans is a joke, whoever has the bigger ammount of points is first...

    Fizzer could do a very simple ranking to fix this and have the true skill of clan members counting towards it's position.

    Just make an official rank (there already are some parallels with flaws) where the clan rating is the sum of ratings of:
    -it's eight top rated players on the 1v1 ladder
    -it's four top rated players on the 2v2 ladder
    -it's three top rated players on the 3v3 ladder

  17. Another league system

    Here is another idea for a league system - based on the actual ladder system. How does this system work?

    We devide ALL ladder users by let's say 18, 19 oder 20 users and put them in leagues.

    Of course - the best 20 players are ranked in league 1. The best 21 - 40 users are ranked in league 2, and so on.

    And all games (still auto generated) you get are against players within your league.

    So the first goal a user has is to become rank 1-5 in his league to get in the next league.

  18. Able to replace players with open seats midgame

    Apart from surrendering, people may vote to get replaced midgame if they have to leave or are booted (in real-time games, of course), so that other people may join the ongoing game (or the host may invite people for replacement)

  19. Multi-stage Manual Distribution

    I would like to see the option to conduct the manual distribution in stages.

    The option could be made in the settings for territories/player distributed per stage. Players would rank picks before each stage and receive X number of territories each stage until the maximum is reached. This would allow players to change strategy during the distribution process.

    The default setting could always make the number of territories/player/stage equal to the maximum total territories/player. (Thus keeping the default manual distribution exactly the same as it is now.)

  20. The ability to preview your name before making the irreversible 20 day leap.

    Basically I would like the option to preview what your name will look like before making the change, I changed my name to funky chicken and to go with the flow added some funky characters. I was horrified to find that for some reason my 'n' shrunk down to a mere picometre. It looked awful. I was horrified and didn't know what to do with myself and with the inevitable despair that followed. Please help prevent such horrible atrocities in the future. Vote for a world of safety, vote for funkychicken not FUNKYCHICKEn, vote for happiness.
